Temperatures have finally gotten to a point where think they’ll stay reliably above 50, making me feel safe when leaving my seedlings outside, so I planted them in some pots over the weekend. Of course, a front moved through Metro Atlanta this weekend, and overnight temperatures dipped into the low 40s, so the plants got to spend the past couple of nights inside. Tonight, though, and for the rest of the week — probably the rest of the season — things should stay warm enough for them to sleep outside.
They were looking pretty impressive in their seed trays, but in the pots, they’re looking a little skimpy, which is just room to grow, I guess.
I planted them in about 1/2 compost and about 1/2 seed starting mix.
